Health and Safety

Your health and safety is WAMIC's highest priority. We will use disposable paper nametags for our 2021 events. Square One Restoration will sanitize our lanyards after each event using Benefect Botanical Decon 30.

We have also verified that all our event facilities adhere to the most current CDC health and safety guidelines. You can learn more about health and safety protocols at the Convention by visiting Holiday Inn COVID-19 Protocols.

*Due to CDC restrictions we are unable to offer a formal spouse/guest program this year. The spouse/guest registration includes all meals at the Convention. 

Registration Confirmation

We send registration confirmation via email, so please use a valid email address. Confirmations are sent to all registrants. If you use the same email address for all your registrations you will receive multiple confirmation emails, so please use a valid, unique email for each registrant if possible.

If you don't receive an email registration confirmation, it may be because some email spam filters may block confirmation emails from getting to you. There are few ways to confirm your registration details:

  • Check your spam or junk folders for the confirmation email.
  • Log into your profile. Hover over the My Profile tab. Click Invoices. You should see all your paid and unpaid invoices here. Click on the most recent invoice number to look at the invoice.
  • Log into your profile. Hover over the My Profile tab. Click Submissions. This will show you each registration you have submitted.
  • Contact our office to confirm your registration details.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

On or before August 26, 2021 

Cancellations received in writing on or before August 26, 2021, will be refunded completely. 

After August 26, 2021 

WAMIC has partnered with Rainprotection Insurance to offer Inability to Attend insurance for our attendees. 

For cancellations received after August 26, 2021, WAMIC will provide No Refunds if you are unable to attend. Instead, we now provide a refund insurance policy. Please see below:

Inability to Attend Insurance:

Registration Insurance is now included in all registration fees. This coverage is underwritten by Lloyds of London.

You will receive a 100% refund, if you are unable to attend the event for a reason outside of your control that is covered under the policy. This coverage starts on the date you pay for registration and ends on the first date of the show. Click Here which takes you to our claims website and then click on the tab Policy Terms & Conditions to see what is covered under the policy.

ADA Accommodations

Please notify the WAMIC staff as soon as possible if you or a guest require any special accommodations due to a disability. If you require an accessible guest room, please notify the hotel when you make your reservation.

Charity Fundraiser

We will conclude our 2021 charity fundraiser at the Convention. Once again we will raise money for the Summer Camp for Burn Injured Youth. There is a donate option on the Convention registration form.

Each year we honor our members who have passed away. If a current or former manager, director, or employee of your company has passed away since the 2020 Convention, please submit their information through our online Memorial form or email the obituary link to [email protected]

Distinguished Service Awards

The Distinguished Service Award allows mutual members to request recognition for managers, directors, or staff who have given extraordinary service to that company and/or the industry. Members who submit an application should consider:

Longevity of Service
Active involvement in the Association
Active advocacy on behalf of the mutual insurance industry

Submissions for this award come from individual companies. If you would like to honor someone with a Distinguished Service Award, please complete and submit the online application form prior to August 26th. We cannot guarantee that any submissions received after that date will be processed in time for the Convention.

WAMIC has negotiated a convention room rate with the Holiday Inn and Holiday Express in Stevens Point. The cut-off date for reservations is August 30th, so book your rooms early.

Trade Show

WAMIC offers exhibitor booth registrations for both members and non-members. Convention registration is separate from booth registrations. We do offer flexible meal registration options for exhibitors. Exhibit space is limited. Booth spaces are assigned on a first come, first served basis.

Exhibitor Liability Insurance Program

Exhibitors are encouraged to carry general liability coverage from an insurance company in good standing with minimum policy limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate. 

This insurance should be in force during the lease dates of the event, September 10-15, 2021, naming Wisconsin Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (7203 Gene St. DeForest, WI 53532) as the certificate holder. The following must be named as additional insured: Wisconsin Association of Mutual Insurance Companies and Holiday Inn Stevens Point - Convention Center.

Rainprotection Insurance Program
